OR3D Run Laser Scanning Workshop to Support Canon

OR3D were happy to support Canon again at another 2 of their 3D printing seminars.  The first was held at Media City in Manchester, the second at Stockley Park. OR3D ran interactive workshops with the attendees who learnt about the various types of scanning systems available and how combined with Geomagic software can help improve their printing workflows.

OR3D were demonstrating the Geomagic Capture desktop scanner.  This compact scanner captures nearly 1 million points per scan in a speedy 0.3 seconds, and its field of view (88 x 87 mm) is ideal for objects that fit in the palm of your hand: jewellery, dental prosthetics, electronic components, toys, automotive and aerospace components and other small, precise parts.
