Desktop Scanners

Desktop Scanners

Desktop scanners are small enough to be sat on the Engineer’s desk and are usually laser or structured light systems, providing high accuracy with a scanner that is simple and quick to use.

These are ideal for small components as there is a limited field of view, the component then rotates on a turntable which is linked to the scanner to assist in the registration of scans making the scanning process easier for the user.

The scan data can be used for reverse engineering, inspections or creating digital documentation, making these scanners ideal for smaller companies, education establishments or museums.
