OR3D provide a wide range of 3D services to SME’s and multinationals alike.
OR3D specialise in providing CAD (computer aided design) models or inspection reports from laser scan data. Using a variety of portable 3D laser scanning equipment and specialist reverse engineering software we can create a 3D CAD model of pretty much anything.
We can also verify the accuracy of manufactured components using 3D scan or probe data with inspection software.
As the largest, non OEM, industrial computed tomography provider in the UK we can offer service and sales with a completely unbiased approach.
Using a laser tracker, we can inspect over 100m to sub-millimetre accuracy. This can be used for projects such as verifying factory layouts, robotic arm installations or CNC machine alignment.
As the UK’s main accredited training partner to 3D Systems, we supply and provide training for Geomagic Design X, Geomagic Control X, Geomagic Freeform, and Geomagic Wrap.
Dinas Bran, a Welsh castle in North Wales, was 3D laser scanned and recreated into a virtual reality experience. We show how it might have looked back in the 13th century.
