OR3D invest in long range 3D scanning solution
OR3D are pleased to add the Reigl VZ400i to their fleet of 3D laser scanners. Its performance allows increases in data capture times per setup, and has ability to record objects over 800m away. This instrument has provided a step change in reducing client costs on site and increasing area’s covered per shift.
The acquisition of this scanner has broadened our in house capabilities to support our existing and new clients, especially those in the energy, transport and civils sectors.

Welsh Castle 3D Scan to VR
Dinas Bran, a Welsh castle in North Wales, was 3D laser scanned and recreated into a virtual reality experience. We show how it might have looked back in the 13th century.
