Your training is delivered by William Rogers, a Volume Graphics certified trainer with four years of daily VGSTUDIO MAX use and three years’ experience as a trainer.
William uses VGSTUDIO MAX every day as part of service and inspection projects—helping turn CT data into clear, usable results and making complex scans easier to interpret. He’s supported work across aerospace, automotive, additive manufacturing and medical, so the training is grounded in real-world applications and the challenges teams face day-to-day.
Many teams discover that the biggest blocker to getting value from VGSTUDIO MAX isn’t the software – it’s inconsistency. Different users can end up with different results from the same CT dataset depending on workflow habits, settings choices, and how reporting is approached.
That’s where training pays off quickly. Our official VGSTUDIO MAX training helps teams:
Standardise workflows across users so results don’t depend on who is at the keyboard
Reduce rework and “trial-and-error” settings
Build confidence in core steps like segmentation, surface determination, and alignment
Produce clear, repeatable reporting outputs for QA, customers and stakeholders
Onboard new starters faster—building good habits from day one
And because OR3D is the UK’s only authorised provider of the official local training, you’re building those habits on the correct foundations.
This is the official VGSTUDIO MAX Local Training, delivered face-to-face in small groups. The course focuses on the core workflow teams rely on in inspection and analysis environments, including:
William also highlights how VGSTUDIO MAX can be used not only for analysis, but for producing reports, animations and visual outputs that make CT results easier to communicate – especially valuable when you’re presenting findings internally or to customers.
Many customers complete the official two-day course, then add extra days focused on their specific workflow – using their data, parts, and reporting requirements.
These bolt-on days often focus on:
segmentation strategy for your materials and scan conditions
repeatable surface determination settings
inspection/report templates your team can reuse
nominal/actual workflows matched to your CAD and tolerancing approach
automation for repeat inspection tasks
This is a practical route for teams who want to move from “learning the tools” to “running a consistent process”.
If you’re looking for VGSTUDIO MAX training in 2026 – and you want the official local training route delivered in the UK – our open dates are available now.
